Well up to your usual high standard Fiona. I like the orange/peach in the sky and reflections and you've got great recession with the silhouette of Wigtown in the distance. It's been a bit grey here too for the last few days :)

Nice sense of distance with this lovely painting Fiona.

Rather nice Fiona, and the touch of orange in the sky and echoed on the water was a good move.

Great patches of peach and the vague outline of Wigtown.

Love the unusual colour palette, different for you 😀

This is lovely, Fiona, the tonal quality of this is perfect!

Well fiona..... I see your coming over to the dark side.... Or should that be the orange side.... 😀 of course I'm bound to like it.... Satsuma sensational....

This is really lovely Fiona. It seems to portray a mood of peace and calm and the orange gives it that little lift.

Looks like a peaceful place ,I like the reflection of the orange sky in the water, the different brushstrokes and Wigtown in the background ,a lovely painting , Fiona.

Wonderful painting Fiona, lovely limited palette.

Beautiful work Fiona, love the touches of peach in the sky and reflected in the estuary.

Val, thank you.....another grey day today! Margaret, Alan, Richard, Linda, Thalia, Dennis thank you all very much. Alan, yes the orange side is calling ! Lol In fact as I dipped my brush into the orange, you came to mind! Hi Carol, it was a still afternoon, glad I included some of that feeling. Many thanks Annick.

Many thanks Cesare, Sandra, Gudrun much appreciated.

Love the splash of colour! Wow it's really effective.

Thank you Jen, you’re very kind.

12”x10” watercolour on Arches. A late afternoon of grey, apart from this slice of orange/peach in the sky. It’s a view towards Wigtown over the Cree Estuary coming up to a high tide. This is quite a large area of salt marsh with lots of small high points of grass that don’t quite become submerged. Which is fortunate for the sheep that graze it.
