Great sense of the wide open spaces Fiona. A good sky as well.

Thank you John....I know you see shapes in clouds and thought you might have noticed my inclusion of the wild boars head in the sky! Lol 🐗 I did it on purpose of course!

Yes I can see the wild boars head , I like this painting a great sky and a feeling of openess . excellent work Fiona

Love your realistic colour schemes Fiona. You represented it all lovely.

I agree with the above comments, Fiona. A beautiful addition to your great gallery.

Wild, open and lovely Fiona!

Certainly NOT a boaring painting though Fiona! Plenty of atmosphere. I like it a lot.

This a good one Fiona!

Disappointed Fiona thought you would have stayed and captured a version as the mist decended. Smashing ink and wash full of lovely marks and energy.

it must have been those two eyes like a mask peering out at me on the left that distracted me of the boar Fiona.

gritty treatment to the coast, Fiona, full of character. Love it,

Love this-the palette is very "Fiona" . Especially like that touch of red in the sky.

That's a great blustery sky Fiona, I can feel the wind in my face and smell the sea air.

Very nicely done Fiona and branching out into heavenly wildlife too!

Brilliant. I'm obviously not hungry enough to see the wild boar.

Lovely work Fiona, great sky and yes I see the boar too!

Simply beautiful, Fiona.

Lovely work, Fiona! So fresh and open and crisp. I love the billowing sky.

This is beautiful Fiona.

Thank you all very much for your wonderful comments, always greatly appreciated.

Delightfully free Fiona.

Lovely fresh and lively piece Fiona dear, that's a really good sky.

Almost missed this beautiful fresh watercolour, Fiona. Wonderful sky.

Almost missed this one Fiona, love the open space and the quick pen and ink, I just think it adds to the finished picture.

Success beating the weather and achieving this splendid work

This is beautiful Fiona!

Lovely Fiona. Interesting paper as well.

Thank you very much Sylvia, Alan, Cesare, Linda, Derek, Karen and Margaret for your positive feedback, you are very kind. Margaret the paper I use for ink and watercolour is Jackson’s own watercolour paper, rough. It has a lovely texture where the pen has a hit and miss effect. Very reasonably priced too for sketchy work like this.

Love your landscapes Fiona

12x9 ink and watercolour. Managed to get this sketch done before the mist descended this afternoon.
