I like your boat do more Fiona! You are really good at them x

Another smashing boat Fiona but it looks more green than blue to me!

Why sorry Fiona? That's what we're here for. Great boat sketch.

This is lovely Fiona. Really love the colours.

Nicely done Fiona...like the colours!

I love boats, and I certainly like this Fiona, Brilliant.

Lovely boat and beautiful sky, Fiona.

Like the style, the colours and the boldness, Fiona

It's a lovely boat. Ready to sail off somewhere magic.

Great olour Fiona. The boat now looks like it been stuck there a long , long time.

Another success here, Fiona. Love the sky.

Superb Fiona, nothing to be sorry for! Love the boat and also the way you have done the sea.

I like the lighting and looseness of this, Fiona. It has an abandoned feel to it, lovely work.

Thank you all ever so much for your positive comments and encouragement. I was trying to get that grungy, decaying look of slimey wood.....I might have over done it in some areas as it looks as though the hull is melting in to the ground! Lol The chemical reaction of the bleach and ink doesn’t work as well on this watercolour paper as it does on the sugar paper. That might be the next trial, if you can stand it.

Very well done Fiona , think it is lovely

this is a beauty its got a lot of oomph Fiona , very nice indeed

A smashing painting Fiona, I love the colours in it and the shape of the boat is excellent!

Love this, especially that sky, it’s terrific.

Looks really good Fiona..love those colours!

Great use of blue - works so well.

My eye went straight to the touches of red on the boat, echoed here and there, prfect against the blue.

Love the sky and the boat, Fiona.

Fine work.

I really admire your mixed media style, Fiona. The colours are striking from sky to foreground, where a balance of colour is evident. Lovely painting. Brian

I really like this one, Fiona, especially the colours, the strong green in the bottom half is beautifully balanced by the bright white and blues in the sky.

I like it very much Fiona! I never get bored of boats so I look forward to your next one!

This is really impressive Fiona -you produce some really interesting results with your different combination of materials. Well done yet again!

Wow that's brilliant Fiona, I almost missed this again, they are off the page so quick, I love this version, the limited colours and different mediums really work well together, it shows its so good to experiment 😀

Nothing to apologise for here , lovely scene, painted with freedom and vitality.

Love the combination of media you used Fiona lovely blues. Look forward to seeing your abstract.

Very good - no need to apologise.

Don't be sorry, it is great. A real eye-catcher with strong shapes and colours. Beautiful.

Many thanks once again for your continued support and patience, it’s very much appreciated.

Lovely composition, Fiona....you are very good with nautical subjects! Love the reflections in the water too!

I love the colour from the boat being used like that in the reflections. I really like this style Fiona

Many thanks Chandra and Diana for your lovely comments.

Great expression of a watery landscape, scratchy lines create movement. Thanks for your Afon Idwal comments.

12”x9” blue and black Quink ink, Indian ink, bleach and a dash or two of oil pastel. I’m attempting to carry on with habits formed during last terms art classes. By developing an original sketch in many ways, even to the point of abstraction.....which I may try further on with this subject.
