Wow, Fiona, I love it!! How very innovative and so well executed! Well done!

This has worked really well Fiona! You've incorporated a lot of detail and I know how hard it is to cut the negative and positive shapes. I can really recommend an excellent book on the subject 'Learning Linocut' by Susan Yates, it explains the different techniques really well.

Great patterns Fiona - a really strong and lively image.

Excellent and with real beauty and class Fiona

This is actually a really good design Fiona, the whole image balances so well, and a great variety of shapes and cuts. Not for someone with arthritis I feel, I will not be having a go. Well done anyway.

Thank you very much everyone for your lovely comments. Looking at it now it's printed, I think I ought to have left the sky uncut or at least less work in it. Perhaps the whole thing looks a bit over worked. Christine thanks for the book title, I'll have a look for that.

I love the sky, beautiful design

I agree with Helen, Fiona...a very striking image and very interesting compostion.

Thanks Ruthy, thanks Chandra, for your lovely comments.

A bit late with my comment, Fiona, but I love the strong design element to this, it's very bold and really effective.

You are good at these Fione, I like them. Would look great printed on greeting cards.

Thank you very much Jenny! <br />That was my initial reason for trying lino cut Carole, I wanted to print my own Christmas cards this year, so I&#39;m practicing. I haven&#39;t thought of a design yet but when I do I&#39;ll be trying them out on POL and getting a consensus for the best one! Thank you for your comment.

You got me trying lino printing again Fiona but not as successfully as you though. This is great especially the &quot;cross hatching&quot; for the mountains.

You&#39;re tempting me to give it a go, Fiona! Gorgeous piece, dramatic and vibrant.

Good for you Val, can&#39;t wait to see it! Go on Seok, have a go......thank you both very much!
