Love it Fiona, the dramatic colurs in the sky and the lovely darks in the tree and bridge with the reflections in the water. Really like this version.

Nice picture Fiona, the grey sky shows up the snow covered land. The reflections of the fence have been well observed.

Lovely watercolour Fiona, nice reflections

Lovely and fresh - nice one Fiona

Excellent big flat washes of colour Fiona, now that has reminded me that I have some nice photos of the Fens around March, I'll have to dig them out and have a go. best Mick

Lovely painting, Fiona. I, too, love the darks and the reflections in the water. Well done !!

Great colours and contrasts to make a beautiful scene

Very good colour Fiona and confident brush work!

Like it Fiona --- wonderfol work

Wonderful energy going on in that tree, Fiona, I love it! And I also like how you've done the sky in those big strokes, quite unusual and very effective, I think.

Another nice one Fiona, like the open feel you created with the sky and the fence and water reflections.

I agree with all the above comments, Fiona: this is really, really well done. Love the atmosphere and the simple, subtle composition! The reflections are perfect!

Many, many thanks to everyone, I'm very grateful for your feedback and encouragment.

This is stunning, Fiona! Love everything about it, but especially the tree - it's so beautifully done.

I agree with Seok that tree really catches the eye. A super loose watercolour, you really are good at these landscapes (says I turning green with envy LOL) Woody sends his regards and thanks you for your lovely comment.

Thank you very much Seok and Val.

There is such confidence in this painting - lovely darks, great water and a super sky.

Another stunner Fiona you are very very good, William.

Lots of wide open spaces in the Fens, lots of water, pollarded willows and big skies. A beautiful place in it's own unique way. I posted a pen & wash of this scene quite a while ago, thought I'd give it a go in watercolour.
