Natures Shrapnel!

I love it Fiona!

You’re quick Sarah! Did you look at it with your glasses on? Lol Thank you very much x

Love the blustering marks and the lovely chaos which looks so natural Fiona.

Hooray ! Real paint and pens and stuff. Love it !

Wonderful Fiona.

It’s definitely Phipps and a good one at that . I really like it Fiona and your use of colour is really good, the little white scratches look good too.

Nice one Fiona ☺️

It certainly has been windy Fiona and you’ve captured that very well. I like the scratchy look of the hedges and trees.

Thank you Carole, appreciate your comment. Lol….yes it’s all my own mess Andrew, you couldn’t fake/copy my rubbish! 😉 Many thanks Denise for your kind words. Thanks very much Paul….the white scratchy bits are made with one of those ink pens, can’t remember the name, Sylvia uses them, I think you do too.

Stephen, Tessa, we must have posted our comments at the same time…..thank you both very much.

This is super. The rendering captures the weather perfectly.

I had an intake of breath - I really did! I love it Fiona!

Absolutely brilliant,Fiona. One’s imagination can run riot with this painting!!!

Messy, scribbly and rather wonderful, love it.

A great impression of blustery weather!

Thank you Fiona and thanks for looking. Marjorie, I know it’s bad but I didn’t think it was bad enough to put you in to a state of shock! On the other hand it could be the wind…..taking your breath away 🫢 thanks Marjorie. It probably could David…..thank you. You are very kind Valerie. It has a certain density that would give that effect Michael, not much sand here but lots of other detritus. Thank you. Thank you Anne and Spencer for your valued comments.

You've certainly captured the 'violence' of a blustery day.

This is great, Fiona, love the scratchy ink lines and the limited palette. Really does look very blustery!

This is so beautiful. Love all expressive lines

Love the untidiness of Nature in full swirl

Full of energy! The road to nowhere perhaps… exactly where I’m heading at the moment… well done anyway!

A tremendous blustery feel to this Fiona. I would have to hold on to my hat walking down that lane! Great movement and mark making in this.

Great feeling of wind and movement!

Many thanks everyone for your lovely comments and observations, you’re obviously well acquainted with the above conditions!

A wonderful depiction, Fiona, of Spring’s adolescent rambunctious and chaotic spirit.

Love the freedom.

Fiona - the energy of this work is excellent and it’s beautifully painted.

I love your description Wib! Thank you. Manus, Coral, Shaun……thank you so much for your kind comments.

Very atmospheric - I can feel the wind!

Thanks very much Emma!

Thank you Brian, you’re very kind

12”x10” mixed media …..watercolour, pencil, Indian ink, oil pastel. It’s been blowy of late, and out walking has been a case of dodging all kinds of “stuff”……even the birds have braced themselves against the swirling updrafts of detritus. I have been more than my usual messy and untidy, scribbly self for this one!
