The more you look, the more you see in this! Reminds me of Gerald Scarfe or Ralph Steadman.. I always confuse these two.

The corps’s head is absolutely terrifying Fiona. The smell of the underworld is all over it but it hasn’t put me off my dinner. Happy Halloween x

To me it’s a skull, which had been wearing a black, wide brimmed hat. The eyes can be seen rolling down in the chocolately mess.

Metamorphism , yes I do know the odd big word and they are using odd as well. Love the colours definitely something changing in there looks full of evil , the skull is there but WHAT else??. You do have a sense of fun with and in your your paintings Fiona .

Well, as soon as I saw this, I saw the character of my childhood nightmares, namely Humphrey Cushion. You may have to Google that one!! It used to scare the living daylights out of me!! Happy Halloween Fiona.

This is great Fiona, It's almost as though a pumpkin has rotted down to reveal a skull beneath.

You’re mad you lot! Lol It’s true Andrew, I’ve been looking at it since yesterday and I still find something different, especially if you turn the image 90 degrees. Chocolate! I didn’t see that Carole….throws a whole new light on it…..nutty chocolate perhaps? Glad it hasn’t ruined your appetite Mick, Happy Halloween. The skull was the first image I saw Spencer, can you see the witches profile on the left? Marjorie these ink blotches are part of my therapy! 😂 there are more to come…..aaaarrrrrrhhhh. I wonder sometimes if I have any conscious decision when I do these…..as in, they are random ink blots dropped on to paper then I flick the odd drop of water here and there then press another piece of paper on the top. I was thinking of witches and skulls etc ……it’s magic! Oooo….that is a big word Paul and on a Sunday! Lol The skull seems to appear to most people but there are many more “things” hiding. Can’t get anywhere near yours Lewis. Lol…..I think your aardvark has jumped from the last lot of these that I did one Christmas Michael, I’m sure you saw one in those. How many glasses have you had with your lunch? Whooooooooo Sylvia 👻 Lol….you’re right Sarah, I did have to look Humphrey cushion up! I’ve never heard or seen that character before. I can see which bit brought him to mind……sorry, hope you don’t have too many nightmares. 🎃

That’s a great description Denise, if you turn the image a fraction to the right, on the left there is a pretty good profile of a witch….together with balding head, hooked nose and warty chin! Heather, I can’t find any of those…..that means I will have to stare at it until I do……oh dear!

Love the colours in this, Fiona - interestingly, as it sits alongside Faye’s goat in the gallery on my screen, my first thought was that the top half looks like a goat’s head!

Entertaining Fiona. I first saw two scooby doo hounds with a sheep lying on top of them with its feet in the air. Ha. Eventually saw the skull. Thanks for waiting for me!!
