Birch......is it alive?

Yes I also love drawing tree trunks, but I can’t compete with this detail or skill! Really excellent work Fiona.

That's fascinating, Fiona...and beautifully drawn. It looks like a Birch tree in trouble, but also has an alien quality. What a great subject to find.

Lol....thank you all ever so much for encouraging and humouring me with my daft pencil drawing. I don’t actually see anything in these until I’ve finished the whole, then they come alive. As Tessa remarked you can make out small isolated landmarks. Michael, I’ll let you know when they finally arrive, last year the first sighting was the 23rd March. Supper will be ruined by the way!
