Sorry, not a very good photo.

Well we saw some sun for a little while at the weekend too but it's absolutely pouring down now Grrrr.
I like nastertiums they are always so vibrant and jolly looking and you've captured that in your clever painting. I like your variety of greens in the leaves too. it gets the thumbs up from me :)

Superb Fiona just superb

Love Nasturtiums but mine seem to attract blackfly by the minute! None here I'm glad to see just lovely sunny ones!

A really fine painting Fiona

I love nasturtiums Fiona, the colours are so vibrant. Like Debs though mine are full of black fly and as I grow them amongst my herbs to add to salads I'm reluctant to spray them. I love this painting!

Beautiful and bright, I Love it Fiona :)

Like the colour mix and riot you have created just as Nasty- tersions are. Don't see too many these days though. Well done Fiona.

Gorgeous bright loose painting Fiona- love your title too

Glad you had a share of the sun Val, thanks for your comment!
Thank you very much Dennis!
No black fly on mine at the moment Debs and with all the rain we've had up here they are looking really lush. Thank you for your comment.
Thank you Graham, Maria for you feedback much appreciated.
Keep it organic Christine, you need to ship some Bluetits in, they will clear your blackfly in no time, thanks Christine!
No Michael, I don't think they are favourite with gardeners these days, I grow some every year, they look great rambling over the stone walls in the garden...and so easy to grow. Thank you for your comment.
Many thanks Linda, Glennis for your lovely comments.

Your painting lifts the spirits Fiona. The colours are lovely and you have got nasturtiums to a T good stuff. Syd

Thank you very much Syd, kind of you to leave a comment, much appreciated.

Full of summer sunshine - if only for a day

I like your unusual take on these nasties Fiona ( I love them really ). We've all used the garden for inspiration lately. What's next I wonder?

Many thanks Nora, Marjorie for your comments. I have some very nice sweetpeas and roses at the moment Marjorie!!

Sunny, colourful and not nasty at all Fiona :)

Excellent work Fiona and delightful colours throughout

I missed this one Fiona but I can't imagine how its buzzing with colour and atmosphere nice work Fiona.

Nothing remotely nasty about this Fiona! It is a really joyful painting - full of colour and life.

Sarah, Dennis, Gudrun, Dermot, Julie...thank you all very much for your comments.

A really lively piece, Fiona, with lovely placement of hues that leads the eye around the painting. Well done!

Many thanks Seok.

Really nice Fiona, typical Nastershum colours so well brought together and with the knife as well, which is a thing I have never really tried, so maybe that's something else I may gain from the gallery.
I do like the way the flowers flow it feels like you are following coloured stepping stones through a garden, a lovely piece, nice one.

Malcolm you are too kind as always about my work, but thank you very much for your kind comments. You should have a go with a painting knife, if you are looking to loosen up your work it's a great frist step!

Great colour, Fiona, and your palette knife work is enviable!!!!

Thank you Jennifer!

Another acrylic with painting knife 17" x 10" The title is what my friend calls Nastertiums which I have a large patch of, looking bright and blowsy at the moment. I did this on Friday when the art group met here and we had a smashing day painting in and around the garden. The sun, which has been a stranger to us north of the border this year, came out in all it's brilliance! In fact the paint was setting solid between palette and painting board it was so warm.
