Gorgeous wet in wet landscape Fiona, well painted!

Wow! This is Galloway on paper. Smashing, Fiona beautifully done.

Thank you Alan x That’s a good one Willie....Galloway on paper.....thank you very much.

And a lovely light achieved Fiona

Beautiful loose watercolour Fiona

Such a looses lovely painterly scene, Fiona!

This would also work well for the January Challenge Fiona... a smasher .

Looks great Fiona, I particularly like the colours. Such a beautiful area where you live.

Really like this, Fiona, with its lovely soft colours and foreground detail.

You have used watercolour to its full potential Fiona. The quintessence of wetness. Brilliant.

I saw this in the Forum too. Love this one, Fiona - as Willie said, "Galloway on paper".

Beautifully portrayed, Fiona.

Thank you all very much indeed for your lovely comments, appreciated. It isn’t a very good photo, took it under artificial light. I’ll try and get a better one, if it will let me edit.

Nice loose style Fiona.

Lovely washes and colours Fiona, love that foreground 👍

Your beautiful loose watercolours are so atmospheric. I love this palette

Good sketch, Fiona.

Stephen, Linda, Diana, Cesare.....thanks very much for you positive feedback.

Thank you very much Gudrun!

That is a watercolour lesson Fiona. Think someone once said - If you work fast you work well.

This is really lovely Fiona - you've certainly portrayed the "wetness" really well.

Richard you could be right in what you say. I took my time with the sketch I put on the forum yesterday and hate it....it’s so tight and awkward looking. Thank you for that jem, I don’t feel so bad about making my usual scruffy mess. Carol, thank you so much. I don’t think I could have got it looking any wetter, only if I had done it outside in the rain!

Hang on Studio Wall

Watercolour in sketchbook. With the run off from the hills after all the rain we’ve had here together with high tides, something had to give. The flooded fields have taken some of the bends out of the river and the sheep have moved to higher ground!
