Why no comments Fiona ? This is a lovely, lively sketch. Would make a good painting.

Well done you, the effort was worth it, a lovely sketch.

The freehand makes you brave & the tractor quirky and probably more interesting than tracing it IMHO

I also like the choice of red ink !

Well, I really like it, not only because it is red, but because it is lively and good.

Definitely very good - I always draw freehand - even though sometimes I know that a lot of people trace their own sketch onto watercolour paper so as not to ruin the paper by rubbing out - I tried this a couple of times but couldn't do it - seemed to end up making more of a mess. If you are serious about the other painting then I am definitely interested. I wouldn't like you to feel obliged though as you might think that I am being a bit cheeky about wanting one of your artworks. I do like it though. You could send details for me to forward payment to [email protected] if you are still serious about it. If you wanted to keep it after all then I will understand. All the best, Jamie

Thank you very much everyone, much appreciated.

Great little sketch Fiona!

Thanks very much Carole.

I love the freedom here Fiona,I think its great, I am , next lesson, being asked to draw my partner !!! Scary thoughts keep making me put off the attempt !. Am looking through you gallery at the moment. Best regards Chris

Thank you Chris, good luck with the portrait!!

I think it's super, Fiona! It's usually the spontaneous, off-the-cuff moments that produce the nicest gems, and this is definitely a gem!

I did a pen & wash a few postings ago of a tractor, part of which I traced. I saw this old tractor in a magazine and thought I would try a drawing free hand. There are lots of 'mistake' lines and it's my usual signature messy, but I've surprised myself that it actually it looks like a tractor. No comments neccessary, thanks.
