It's what you enjoy doing that counts Fiona, love the shapes and colour in this.

Wow.... It's fionas..... Blue period... You really go for it here... Fantastico....

Love the blues, the moon and the foreground, keep it please,Fiona,it is interesting and too good for the bin.

Carole you’re right, one thing I learnt was the oil pastels really smudge and blend well on this background, so my time and the print wasn’t wasted....lol. Thanks very much. Dennis, thank you! Ha ha...Alan, don’t forget the orange....just for you. Thank you. Thanks very much Annick, you’re very kind, I’ll sit on it a while....lol that might improve it!

Lovely luminous colours - bit different - I would keep it, Fiona :)

Very striking blues Fiona, wish I could do as well with oil pastels as you obviously have.

Well at least it's giving you the time to experiment with the oil pastels and not waisted paper, I've got quite a few old paintings to try this with, the blue is lovely in this 😀

Love the spookiness and shades of blue you have used Fiona. Definitely not for the bin.

The colours are wonderful Fiona, the various shades of blue are gorgeous and I like the little touches of ?orange which lifts it all. Painting is all about enjoying yourself so go for it girl!!

Many thanks everyone for your lovely comments, much appreciated.

I did a few collagraph prints of the cave a few months ago and some of them came out quite dark, and pretty rubbish really. Before sorting them out for the recycling bin I did a bit of messing about with oil pastel. They are still heading for the bin but it passed a half hour.
