Fiona, this is beautifully done, love the trees on the horizon, and the soft colours. (You have some wonderful views from your home, but I don't recall seeing houses in the paintings from your windows - do you have any neighbours? I live on the edge of a town a stone's throw from the M25 and my views couldn't be more different!)

I wouldn't survive in a town.....I lived in Harrogate for a year...that's it.!lol
