Landscape with jackdaws

A beauty 😍

Like this a lot Emma, those trees are excellent

Excellent painting with a superb tree, I agree doing all the branches is quite relaxing and your result is so good.

A marvelous painting.

That’s so lovely

A lovely painting Emma.

Excellent painting Emma, love the subjects you paint. I managed to save a Jackdaw from a Sparrowhawk last week, that’s the third meal I’ve deprived it of! Lol.

This caught my eye Emma - love the sky and the branches. The three birds in the foreground make a great composition.

Thank you all! (Fiona - that poor hungry sparrowhawk must hate you 😂)

I think he must Emma. I know he/she needs to eat and I accept that feeding the birds provides a fast food service for them, but! Lol. The other two birds that had the chance to live another day were a GS woodpecker and a collard dove. I love all birds but I love some more than others….lol

Lovely, Emma. Especially those branches against the sky.

A beautiful watercolour Emma. I love it.

Thank you Shirley and David! Fiona - sounds like a female sparrowhawk if she’s going for birds that size - you’d better get your hard hat on 😁

Thanks Romila.

This is a really excellent watercolour Emma, super composition

Thank you David.

It is the female Emma, she’s nearly had my head off coming round the side of the garage! The males is a bit of a wuss, to be honest. Lol

Love the mellow light and composition of this piece, Emma. Beautifully painted.

Thanks Seok. Fiona - be careful out there!

Missed this one Emma, lovely feeling of light here, the trees are very well painted, as are the Jackdaws.

Thank you Stephen.
