Fishing at Middlehaven by Emma Price

I’m lucky to be able to walk to Middlehaven, a former dock near Teesmouth, in my lunch hour. I’ve seen seals, cormorants, guillemots, curlew, peregrine falcons, loads of butterflies and wildflowers and, last week, a small party of common terns fishing. They breed at Saltholme, just a quick flap over the river, but they’ll be off to Africa soon. Mixed media on black A3 paper.
