There were a couple in our local park at Christmas too - mixing with the mallards! Lovely painting Emma.

We have them every winter Emma. Come in to shelter but they are very shy. Interesting arrangement you have here.

A little group of goosanders arrived at the local park last week, presumably their usual haunts were too cold. Although the weather didn’t stop the males making goo-goo eyes at the females. Watercolour on Bockingford CP, 14x10".
