Autumn full moon

I really like the colours in this one Stevan, I always like the moonlit theme you do so well.

The colours are amazing, I love your artwork, its so very different!!

I thought of you today Stevan, I was at the beach and on the way, there is a hedge of old hawthorn trees and I instantly thought of your striking and dynamic paintings of the same. I have the image fixed in my mind so they may become a subject for a future painting.....it’s only about 10 mile away so could even have a drive over again. The change of palette is an exciting combination, it’s very moody in atmosphere....almost heavy, if that makes sense?

Thanks for the comment Fiona and good luck with the hawthorns. They've always got so much personality so in my opinion they make great subjects. Chuffed to bits that you like the new colours, it was something of an experiment and I get what you mean when you say it feels heavy. Looking forward to seeing your hawthorn picture when you get it done.
