The road to Hebden bridge
The main feature is the moorland landscape with rock outcrops on the hill top. The road is incidental in that we were traveling to Hebden bridge when the landscape caught my eye. In attempting to create the picture I wanted plenty of texture and random shape within the hill sides. The deliberate paint runs on the gesso surface give me what I was looking for.
