Know that area Stevan. I lived in Walsden for a couple of years way back. Can be bleak and beautiful at the same time. Nice painting.

Good colour and paint effects Stevan.

Very attractive. Is it acrylic very wet ?

In response to the question about wet acrylic I have used white gesso in areas then applied wet WATER COLOUR paint in top. Hope this helps. Steve

This is super, Stevan, beautiful colours. I also sometimes use watercolour on gesso, it produces some lovely textures and vibrant colours.

In attempting to create the picture I wanted plenty of texture and random shape within the hill sides. The deliberate paint runs on the gesso surface give me what I was looking for.
