This is a stunning piece of work, Stevan. Very, very atmospheric with an impressive view and colour scheme. Beautiful light in the sky. Pen and wash is my favourite technique, so I like this very much.

The Cow and Calf is an iconic spectacle in our region and one that everyone paints. As such I've tried to do something different with this effort. The sky is poorer to get a nice clean blend and the foreground texture is ink mingled with water colour on gesso. Pen and ink on the rocks separates them from the rest of the picture to make them stand out.
