Remember this from Gib, did they call it the tac 2 or something? It was a Range Rover though. Super sketch, like the way you’ve done the grill at the front.

Thanks Fiona, the TAC1&2 followed on from the ACRT. They were just getting the TACs when I left Gib, and you are correct the TAC 2 was a six wheel Range Rover, they used Litewater to fight the fires.

Blimey, my memory isn’t too bad after all. The tac 2 was my husbands favourite vehicle when deployed.

Great drawing, Dixie. I now know who to come to when I want to draw more vehicles !

Yes he was, in Gib between 1984-1987, then back to Cottesmore Rutland to theTri- National Tornado base.

My father used to be a Fireman as well. Well respectful profession I deed. Nice study Paul.

Thank you Art definitely a respectful job and so worth doing.

A4 pencil sketch of a landrover ACRT(airfield crash rescue truck) worked with these in the RAF Regiment when I was a fireman. They used dry powder to suppress the fire, great little vehicles.
