Beautifully painted, Paul. I love paintings of oast houses!

First rate Paul..Good scene.

The more I look the more I see in this watercolour Paul.

I don’t think I could have painted that fence Paul, my hands aren’t steady enough!

Thank you David , Andrew , John and Frank for your comments. Frank I’m having trouble with my right hand , the left was sorted out last year but it’s becoming more difficult to hold a brush at the moment . The was was benefited by my having a unsteady hand , as it’s a chestnut palling it’s quite wobbly anyway , a rigger and down strokes .

Beautifully painted and certainly cheerful for a miserable day.

Excellent painting Paul.

Another lovely painting, Paul. There is something about oasthouses.

Sandra , Cheryl, Christine,Stephen and Linda thank you for your very kind comments.

A great grouping, lots of oasts around where I live too

This has everything Paul…… the orchard, sunshine and wonderfully painted Oast houses. A lovely English countryside scene.

Thanks Fiona , I just love the shape of the oast houses they cry out to be included in paintings .

This is great, Paul, loose feel to those trees and love the oast houses

Thank you Thalia I appreciate you commenting.

Love it, Happy Christmas Paul !

Thank you Valarie, have a good Christmas and New Year.

A4 watercolour on Bockingford rough paper, I wanted something cheerful on a miserable day and was inspired by a 1950 photo looking across the orchard in sprint to the oast house ps in the background. .
