Such an interesting story Paul. Love how you have painted the stones and the soft focus of the background.

That is very good, Dixie. Like the way the formation is set off by the remainder of the painting.

Excellent watercolor Paul 😌

Nice one Paul. There's one of these on the coast path north of Whitesands Bay in Pembs.

Good one Paul and interesting info.

Thank you Carole, David, Stephen, Andrew and Christine for your kind comments I appreciate them.

A fascinating story behind this painting Paul. It is beautifully painted in soft, delicate tones. Great work!

I like these stories, these stones obviously were built for a purpose but myth-makers are always keen to attach such things to Arthur or Merlin.

Interesting story Dixie , your painting is lovely. Those stones are beautifully done.

Good one Paul

This is really lovely Paul. I really like the way you have painted it and that handmade paper is superb, it makes the colours shine through beautifully.

A4 watercolour on handmade rough watercolour paper a loose painting with the table as the centre point. Arthur’s Seat is located in Llanboidy Camarthenshire , on tale has tells of how wolves built there den between these slabs (information from Wales On Line ). It’s said that there are still lots of these stone remains mostly in remote places still waiting to be discovered or rediscovered .
