hi this is a very pretty scene lovley painting xx

So delicate Paul, love the colours 😊

Lovely scene Paul and so beautifully painted.

A lovely topic, I've passed there a good few times (and have quite a few photos!) - you have captured it beautifully.

Nice one Dixie!

Thank you Paula,Linda, Denise, Margaret and Linda for you kind comments. This was one of those paintings that was fun and a pleasure to do. It was a bit of an experiment into painting mountains in this style and something I will continue with.

Lovely delicate painting. Like your colour palette

Love the subject Paul. The castle stands out against the mountainous backdrop....lovely watercolour.

An unconventional composition, I like the soft wash a lot, Paul.

Thank you for the kind comments, Christine, Fiona, Romila and Kwok they are appreciated and mean a lot.

Watercolour on 310gm 24x36 cm paper. Kilchurn castle loch Awe in Argyllshire . I have several old photos of this beautifully ruin, used a couple and was inspired by photos on line . I admire very much the mountain paintings of David Bellamy and had that in mind when doing the background.
