Fantastic, Paul. Well done, I love it!

She should be pleased! Nicely done.

Peter, Mia, Stephen and Tessa thank you for your kind comments. I did send her photo of it but I did not mention the title , I do know she really does like irises but I suspect few people don’t .

Beautifully painted Paul.

These are my favourite as well!

Denise , Martin and Heather thank you for your much appreciated comments.

Such a lovely watercolour.

So lovely Paul. Yes they are my favourite flower....

One of my favourites too, I've just finished a CP version of one and a watercolour version. This is lovely Paul.

Thank you Val I will look out for yours. It’s surprising how many people actually have this flower as a favourite, a good old fashioned flower I know but as good as a lot of the more upmarket plants.

Gorgeous! In my opinion you can’t beat an iris for pure, natural beauty!

Really beautiful iris Paul.

You may have started something here Paul, mine are flowering at the moment……mmm, I think I have some oils left on the palette. So lovely and delicately painted.

Beautifully painted Dixie.

Spencer , Carole, Fiona and Mark thank you so much for your kind comments. Go for it Fiona , I know your will do a great job .

A4 watercolour of a single Iris the last one growing in my garden . I do enjoy painting flower when I can be motivated to do so , very complex things when you look close . I know it’s Sylvia’s favourite flower , she is quite expert at sketching and painting them , they just happen to be my favourite as well .
