Another good one Paul

A great painting to tell a story about, Paul. I am certain your granddaughters will love it!

You have created a wonderful scene Paul, beautifully painted.

Lovely work, Paul - super boat and love the setting complete with seagulls!

How very cute to have your granddaughter’s name on the boat. Lovely little scene Paul.

A great scene Paul

Great painting, great idea Paul.

Thank you all for your very kind comments. Their names on the boats are what make them really take interest as it’s their painting so to speak. I did a couple of farm paintings a year or so ago , they still like to get them out every so often, the story’s change a bit but that’s all to the good.

Oh yes. All those shapes on the boat perfectly caught. Excellent. I think it's one of your best, Dixie.

So beautiful Paul, lovely stories from this :)

Fabulous boat Paul, it fits into its surroundings perfectly.

Many thanks Lew, Carole and Fiona for you kind comments. I must admit Lew I was pleased with the shoe of the boat and the built the rest around it . I did keep a copy of the boat on it own for future reference.

This is really delightful Paul!

A lovely idea Dixie and a super painting with a very personal touch for your grandchildren. Smashing!

Thanks for you comments Diana and Tessa. You need to start building up you story boards Tessa so you can read to your new grandchild, never to early, all the colours etc.

That's brilliant paul

Thanks for taking time to comment Judith.

Really nice painting Paul and I'm sure your granddaughters will love it ' will make a grate tale

Plenty going on there Paul, love the idea of making a story up for your grandchildren.

Your boat paintings arereally great as I find that you capture the atmosphere and shape beautifully. It is something I have yet to learn.

Watercolour , of a old fishing boat abandoned on the beach. A made up scene to use as a story board with my youngest granddaughters, who love making up stories to the paintings. It a lot more busy than I would normally do to give them plenty to talk about. The boats have the girls names on them.
