This so delightful, did she really do this by herself, with a little help of course, from an adult? the colours are just right and so atmospheric. her hair is soft and fluffy. beautiful as always well done Diana

This is Florence , my granddaughter admiring her handiwork. It has been quite a challenge in being brace enough to put such dark on a child's face. I put two loose washes over the background mid painting, just letting areas of colour blend. I put on several layers of darks on her face and imagine that it could have been even darker The oranges were cad yellow cad red cad orange Violet. Shadows were DS shadow Violet burnt umber Payne grey and of course a bit of indigo in there !!
