Wow, Diana, what an unusual subject and perfectly executed. Great work!

I love it Diana, the limited amount of colour and the way you have applied it is brilliant.!!!

Thank you Mia. It was a dull , winter morning

Thank you Linda. It was that very limited palette that I liked with bits of olive green

Love the way you have painted the rocks Diana they almost mirror the colours and to some extent the seaweed, so that it is a harmonious whole. Great palette.

Lovely work - variety of mark making - really interesting.

That’s why I also love oil paints Diana, you’ve put everything into this interesting piece, I can just feel the enjoyment!

Thank you Carole. The colours were very harmonious but I can’t take credit for the image. That was my husband. Thank you Linda. I loved making those sweeping lines. Thanks Alan. I really enjoyed it but finding oils very tricky to photograph

Just one word Diana..... excellent. Love it. The painting has such impact .

beautifully done Diana

A striking image, I like it.

Oh yes! You are enjoying yourself Diana, you can tell immediately. I love the foreground.

Love this bold painting, Diana, with its limited palette.

Love the colour palette you have used Diana and the variety of marks

Thank you Elaine. It’s great to hear your thoughts. I’m glad you think it has impact. Thank you Sam I appreciate your interest. Thanks Diane. It’s quite a gloomy scene but lovely muted colours. Thank you Fiona. I feel as if I can let myself go with oils whereas watercolour needs a bit of restraint ( at times) Thanks Jenny. I really like green gold and it matched the seaweed perfectly. Thank you again Anjana. I’m quite pleased with the outcome and that takes some doing !!

I really love the limited palette and then just that touch of red Diana.

Really enjoying this, stood on the beach feeling the damp sand on my bare feet with the gulls overhead. For a brief moment in time you've taken me to a lovely place Diana.

Thank you Andrea I y tv honk that bit of red was a different type of seaweed that was growing much closer to the rocks. Thank you Brian. That’s such a compliment. I love it when a painting does that.

16x12’’ oil on canvas. This time I was working on getting a bit more detail. I feel really connected to this painting. Oils are so tactile
