Where Swallows Wait

Love your subtle palette Diana with that lovely pinky colour on the horizon. A great sentiment for the end of summer but an unknown future awaits in the distance. Beautiful.

this is lovely on many levels - the whole composition, colours, perspective, love everything about it!

Unusual and so attractive Diana. I love the uncertain feel of that hazy horizon and the almost waiting for the start signal to send them all on their way. Lovely.

Yes i agree with others super watercolour, lovely and loose and such a sad time of the year when they all fly off!!!

Lovely deep colours Diana my eye is drawn into the painting by the orange and yellow in the sky a very nice watercolour.

Another beauty Diana!

Thank you Carole for such a thoughtful comment. Lovely words. Thank you Heather. I’m surprised how sentimental I feel about it myself. Thank you Jim, that’s a lovely thought if not a bit sad. Hello David and thank you for your interest in the painting. Thank you Barry. I did have to strengthen the colours because I usually get them too diluted in wet in wet work. Thank you Romila. Lovely to hear your thoughts. Thank you Paul. It’s so motivating to read your encouraging comments. Thanks Andrea. Revisiting old paintings at the moment to tidy bits up.
