Nice sketch David -must be fabulous over there now.

Thank you both, glad you like it. I enjoy my travelling sketching kit almost as much as painting watercolours outdoors. Just an A5 sketchbook, a 4B pencil, 4 fibre pens 0.1 to 0.8mm, a sharpener and an eraser, and 20-30 minutes of free time is what works for me.

A quick ink sketch from a New Year walking break in the Lakes. This village church is on the banks of Bassenthwaite Lake, a couple of miles from the village, and half a mile across fields from a tarmac road, so one for the truly devout!
