Very nice work David. So simple yet so effective. I sometimes think these relatively quick sketches are better than the more finished work - though that doesn't apply in your case. Your watercolours are just as good. I can certainly spot your influences. I will look out for more of your postings.

Nice drawing David, some lovely work on the buildings, for me the grassy areas are perhaps a bit too detailed and would have benefitted from being blocked in tonally.

The Chichester Harbour area is full of small, remote places. Sidlesham is on the Pagham Harbour inlet and it’s one of those places where I could find sketch subjects all day long.
