Glad you like it Heather. I'm afraid the scene is down to artistic licence, the farmhouse is in one part of Sparrowpit, the view beyond is from another part. I wanted to emphasise the sense of living on the edge.

I've always taken photos for a file named "Photos for Painting" but rarely used it as I much prefer painting outdoors. I had thought it would be used in my old age when the legs and lungs wouldn't get me to the places I love any more. But Covid-19 has brought that day forward so here's today's lockdown effort from my painting shed.
