Tank Traps, Walberswick – a quick holiday pen and wash sketch from our annual pilgrimage to the Suffolk coast last month. These wartime relics fascinate me, the way their ugly solidity contrasts with the unspoilt coastal scenery, and yet they are an integral part of this Europe-facing coastline.
