Wonderful drawing - reading your comments I think initially the uk was a better place after the war eg there was no NHS on D Day - but now its all going backwards

From a photograph in a newspaper that brought tears to my eyes, such a powerful image. This veteran, part of a fast disappearing generation that must despair when seeing what our country has become. Only a quick sketch, most of it drawn with my three year old grandson sitting on my knee, he celebrated his birthday on June 4th,
