One nice technique is to bring the sky down and around the painting as you can see on the left and right sides of the rocks, it helps tie the painting together . I do hope this helps.

A beautiful looking place George that you have painted beautifully.

This is a beauty David and your technique works well

Thank you Heather and Paul. Being blown to pieces down here in the SW

This is wonderful David. Love the sense of depth and height you have achieved and how you have painted the beautiful crisp colours as well as them having a gentle softness.

That is exquisitely painted David. Such great detail. Well done.

Lovely painting

Thank you Heather ,Carole, Spencer and Faye

Very impressive painting, David - dramatic and such beautiful colours!

Lovely watercolour David - love the transparent colours.

Yes, Dympna, the glazes of Yellow Ochre often brighten up a painting

Super little scene David, the blue water at the base works well also.

A stunning watercolour David, a master at work.

Thank you everyone for your very kind comments

Watercolour 20" x 16" framed . I love the name of the the bridge which is Pont Pen-y-benglog. It was a favourite place of ours to paint in any weather, as its so dramatic and fabulous views down the valley. Plenty of parking on the nearby A5 road.
