Love the colours you have used in this painting!

Gosh thats was quick Steven!!!

Wonderful colours.

Excellent painting David, your choice of pallet is really good.

Something splendid "from nothing", David - beautifully painted!

This is so beautiful and I love the delicate colour palette, David.

Such gentle washes and a lightness to your painting, which almost makes the viewer feel as if they were floating along with this beautiful landscape. Superb as always David.

Thank you everyone for your very kind comments. sorry David i meant you got back very quickly!!!

Carole, lovely words, i so appreciate that.

Have turned the ordinary in to the extraordinary with your change of palette David. Easy on the eye and the soul.

stunning painting

Oooohhhh yes!

I have just moved into 5 Gladstone Terrace and came across your work though a neighbour. I just love everything I have been able to see so far. Many years ago I dabbled in watercolour painting, I'm truly inspired by you work. Maybe it's time to have another go!

Gosh Karen, that`s amazing, glad you liked my work and it is inspiring for you. It was the first house Liz and I lived in. If you click on my gallery you will see my work and Liz`s is under Liz Marsden-King. If you need any advice please ask. Dave

Watercolour 20" x 16" This scene is on the A470 after passing Dolwyddelan. You would just drive pass it, not thinking a painting is hidden there. Limiting the colour pallete can bring a new perspective to the whole scene. In my early painting career, i would drive round looking for the perfect scene to paint, when, it can be on your door step!! Colour used: FU, Brown Madder, R S, and Burnt S.
