Very subtle and pleasing effect, the grey sky and far mountain with greenery in foreground.

It's a beauty David and well done for climbing it!

Lovely watercolour - like the way the colours fade away to the mountains.

A beautiful painting and beautifully painted.

Good one David 👍

An absolute beauty David. What a fantastic place to be, away from it all. Thank you for the useful ‘info.

Beautiful work, David. A lovely contrast between the majestic mountain and the calm greens in the foreground!

Thank you everyone for your very kind comments

This is a brilliant painting David. The depth you’ve achieved is superb.

20" x 16" watercolour. I painted this a few years ago. It does bring back memories of Liz and I climbing it. The granulation in the trees was achieved by using Lemon Yellow + French Ultra and Light Red, mixed in this order. I have found it best to mix yellow first when mixing greens, then adjust the green with Light Red or some red or orange. Hope this helps
