These are both very good, think apples is my favourite by a small margin. I agree about the effort needed for oil pastels!

The twin to my "Oranges" painting. I sketched the apples first, enjoyed trying to reproduce their individual tactile shapes so they look like, but not too much like, the real deal. Using oil pastel requires quite a bit of energy.
