A lovely painting Chris, I especially like the brush marks suggesting the contours of the land. I agree with Lionel regarding the tree tops.

During our walk last Sunday between Asthall and Swinbrook following the course of the River Windrush we came across this attractive grouping of trees complete with cows grazing. I tried to capture the feeling of the area in its early morning state with as few strokes as possible. Saunders Waterfford High White paper.
