Lovely watercolour once again Chris, nice lead in towards the very well painted tree, illuminated by the light patch of sky. Good use of shadows once again.

The light in this, or perhaps I should say the glow, is wonderful Chris. Thank goodness you tolerated the steamy car to paint this so we could enjoy seeing it.

Lovely painting Chris especially the sky and trees.

brilliant painting, love the rain very atmospheric.

It is incredible how dynamic a quiet landscape can become - Everything in the picture leads into the old tree. Excellent

Really atmospheric and accomplished. The clouds are super - as is that tiny speckle of white beneath the old oak.

Superb piece. Agree with Kim - it is wonderfully atmospheric. Love the sky and the sun in the foreground.

A fantastic painting. I envy your ability to create such a sky and the light on the field also is so well done. Thanks for sharing, Chris.

Rain, Rain, Rain all day long! But the odd glimses of sun and blue in the sky! Rather a simple scene that at the time cried out to be painted, this view can be found somewhere in the North West Cotswolds in the vicinity of Stanton or Toddington, I really couldn't work out or remember where abouts we where on the map at the time when getting back to base! Painted in the comfort of our muggy steamed up car. Saunders Waterford 300lbs Rough Paper
