Tacolneston Church Norfolk 9.75" X 14.25" by Chris Bendall
Heading south from Norwich, this country village church can be found on the B1113. It stands by a bend in the road at the north end of Tacolneston. Pronounced "tackle'stn" according to the locals. Parts of the church date back as far as the 13th century so it is truly an historic building. There is a verge opposite where one can conveniently sit and "tackle'stn" this subject, and what's more some kind person had the courtesy to lay a couple of square meters of level concrete amongst the verge to facilitate a perfect place to set up, I am sure this is purely coincidental, and perhaps there was once a bench seat occupying the space, however the viewpoint is a good one. Well worth a visit if you are in the area and like country churches. Had a bit of a struggle with the mass of greens and had to avoid the temptation to fiddle too much as well. Thankfully time did not permit me to hang around too long as we had another 100 miles or so to drive and lunch was next on the programme! Arches Aquarelle 140lb Rough
