Another beautiful addition to your magnificent gallery, Chris. I love your limited use of colours. Well done!

Well worth the need for the Vanish, Chris! It's a lovely scene, beautifully painted in your characteristic style. And thanks for telling us about the place - it adds to the experience of sharing your carefully chosen scenes.

Nice picture once again Chris. I always like your use of shadows. I'm not a great fan of scratching out grasses with a knife but James Fletcher Watson used that method, so who am I to complain!

A great painting Chris.

Agree with everyone. It's super, full of atmosphere and light.

A third of a mile from a stile on the road between Taynton and Great Barrington lies Mile End clump! Fairly high on the wold in the surrounding area, these Buildings and Barn are rarely seen unless one takes the trouble to visit them. A convenient footpath runs along the foreground field allowing plenty of scope for choosing a view point to have a go at the subject. Despite being on high ground, on this particular occasion, the field and enclosure, having been recently cropped during a wet week, was extremely muddy! My trousers definately needed the Vanish stain remover upon returning home!!! Bockingford 250lbs Not paper.
