I love your tree's and shadows Chris, are they grave stones on the outside of the church wall? Must be a very old church........Norman?

Thank you Fiona for your kind words, the churches date I am not sure about, however there is architectural evidence from the 12the century. The posts on the grass are there sometimes to stop people parking on the verges.

A beautiful Church in a beautiful Village, I just wish I had had more time to paint this one, as it was very obvious that the weather was going to change before I could finish. I risked it for as long as possible but the heavens really opened "Cotswold Style!" Bockingford Paper.
