Catherine Beale's "Watercolour freed!" series in The Artist inspired me to revisit this medium, having decided about 3 years ago that watercolour was really not for me. I was having a play with some water based brush pens a couple of days ago, and added some conventional watercolour (mostly wet into wet) to this sketch of hydrangeas from one of my own photos.
