Thank you Romila and Andrew. I like the soft pastel sticks. They are less precise than using pastel pencils - I thought really hard about using them to follow the light and lines of muscles in the body.

This is probably the best of the 10 or so drawings I did at the Friday Group this week. We are back indoors after a summer of plein air landscape painting. 30 minute pose. Soft pastels + black pastel pencil on brown A3 Canson MiTientes paper.
