Great to see your fabulous work again Brian, it's been a while.

Thank you very much, Russell! I must admit I've missed the place but life has a terrible habit of getting in the way of so many things. Covid has a lot to answer for. Appreciate the comments very much. Bri

Welcome back with this much improved lovely version Brian.

Lovely to see your work again Brian. Love the tranquility and stillness of this lovely scene, especially your skill in painting such a variety of greens within the trees and foliage.

Thank you very much, Ronald and Carole, for the great comments. Appreciated, as always. This angling pond is very close to where I live and is part of a local nature reserve. Lovely spot. Bri

Fabulous, agree with the comments

Super painting, the reflections are beautifully handled

We've noticed your absence Brian, lovely to see your work again. Such beautiful reflections here.

Great that you're back, and with your usual excellent work. I like everything about it, the sun on the far trees and the beautifully rendered water.

Thank you very much, Romila, Paul, Marjorie and Lewis, for the generous comments. Much appreciated. I'm back at my seat and have started to paint again, so I'm hoping to be around a lot more. Great to hear from you all again and hope you're all keeping well. Best Bri

Hang on Studio Wall

Oil on canvas, 50 x 40 cms. A repainted version of this fairly old painting. I've adjusted the background trees, giving them more height and varied appearance, AND I've added some birds on the angling pond for good measure. Some of the reflection were also adjusted. This is the final version.
