Thank you Jim Margaret and Sandra but much of the credit must go to Amanda as she had sorted out a lot of issues in her demo. However, I think and hope there is still a large chunk of me in my interpretation.

Love this painting and I did call into the Academy on a couple of days - I should have looked around - have a studio there.

Another great example of contrasting light and shade, Barry. You have a knack of including a streak of red, just perfectly in place somewhere, neither too much nor too little. The sunlight is sublime and the central boat and figure attract the eye immediately. Lovely. Bri
