Barry, it’s snow! You’re a secret snow scene lover aren’t you? Lol. I like this, especially the sky....I’ve never tried gouache, only white which I use occasionally in ink sketches.

My secret is out and you have caught me out Fiona, I very seldom use gouache but needed it’s covering power on the brown background.

This really is an eye catcher to me, Barry. Love the atmospheric scenery and beautiful colours.

Putting of starting my next project until I feel ready and in these periods I find myself messing around doing small studies. I think of it as a sort of warm up to the big event and it often throws up little gems. This was done in a brown paper sketch book using gouache paint and measures 7”x4”.
