Thank you Stephen, went back to basics with my mixing practice this week and appreciating my love of watercolours

You can sense the Tuscan heat in this painting (and couldn't we be doing with some of it here). The touch of bright blue in the woman's dress helps to hold everything together, a cool spot against the cool grey-browns of the buildings.
