Excellent! The eyes have him looking at distant desert horizons. Monochrome works well.

Sometimes when I've said as much as I can in painting I stop. Today was an example of that but I'm happy with how I've interpreted my portrait. It's not intended to be photo realistic, the complete opposite, it's painted with heart and soul and that's all I ever ask of myself. Monochrome colours on a raw, burnt sienna prepped canvas. Varnishing next then onto the next piece. Winsor and Newton acrylics.
