Woodland Snow Shadows by Ashley Raddon

A terrific scene very well painted.

Although you've used yellow tones Ashley, the blue shadows let us know that it is snow

Yes thank you Frank and as I say, I'm never dictated to by colour and I think I said in the description I'm always looking to push the watercolour as mid tone heaven, safe paintings don't really excite me, tone, contrast and values do. Thanks again, much appreciated 😊

The power of a simple composition, beautiful !

I agree Trevor, simple isn't always simple but it can certainly be something more than the sketch. Thank you 😊

Really like this and the colours.

Thanks Maureen 🙂

Thanks Spencer, much appreciated

Winsor and Newton watercolours on Bockingford paper using Escoda brushes.
